Hells Angels OG

Introduction

Legend has it that Hells Angel OG was perfectly cultivated in Southern California by the bikers themselves. With the parents of Blackberry and OG Kush, but since this documentation wasn't submitted properly we may never truly know. Regardless of that, this strain remains true to every aspect of my first thought. Anticipation swarmed within me as I drove to go pick up, from the first sight via photo of this magnificent strain without the knowledge of what it was. My mind began racing with thoughts of smells, textures, tastes, and feelings I was over come with excitement when I saw the name. First thought "BadAss"! Next my smell senses were drawn in, overwhelming earthy and fruity tones escaped into the air through the bag. All while the bud shimmered and listened in the sunlight that shown through the window. For the next 25 minutes my mouth watered as I imagined what the taste of the first hit would be like. But before that could happen, I settled myself down at my kitchen table.

Initial Impressions

I began to slowly open the bag at which point I was completely slammed in the face with smells so powerful. Clean redolent pine, pleasing sweet citrus, and delightfully tempting mixed berries. Closing my eyes imagining myself standing in the middle of the forest surrounded by newly fallen snow, pine trees being chopped down, houses with homemade assortment of fruit pies being cooled on the windowsills, and the wind with a steady light flow. Breathing in the freshness of my surroundings. As I opened my eyes, I just stared at the beauty in front of me "Hells Angel OG".

Holding the bag in my left hand I delicately remove the big winter wonderland bud from the bag with my right hand. All while staring quite intently at the large, fluffy, sticky, sparkly, nug that is set before my eyes. The trichomes and pistils completely covering the outside of this stunning bud. The beauty that is displayed is like no other, as the buds themselves are pretty funky but yet so sexy and desirous looking.

Before breaking the bud apart with my fingers, I couldn't help but notice how the green is two different shades. Dark and light neon green, with orange hairs that just green is two different shades. Dark and light neon green, with orange hairs that just protrude through each crystallized leaf. As I proceeded to break it apart, the bud came alive with colors. The purples, pinks, greens, off white; all behind the pulchritudinous trichomes that captivates the bud in its
entirety. Having the OG Kush traits made it easier to break each nug apart since the buds are fluffy but also dense, quite sticky too. I was able to carefully pull apart the sticky icky bud and place it neatly inside of my brand new bowl that I purchased earlier that day. Once it was full I placed the remaining bud back into the bag as my eyes continued to admire the absolute exoticness and gratifying traits that "Hells Angel OG" displays.

Smoking Quality

The First Hit

Placing the bag gently down on the table; then picking up both my bowl and lighter, and lighting the corner of the scrumptious bud. Taking my first entrancing toke that I have been so patiently waiting for. Slow prolonged pulls, heavy smoke penetrating into my lungs. I was blown back as the irresistible earthy notes that soared through me. Holding my hit in, feeling the heavy me. Holding my hit in, feeling the heavy clouds bore deep inside me. 1, 2, 3, 4.....10 second hold. Upon exhaling I received an elevated rush straight to my head, the citrus and fruit notes clung to my taste buds. Mmmm so flavorful and smooth.

The High

While the THC level averages at 20% and it being Indica Dominated (80% Indica ~ 20%Sativa); not even moments after the head effects the body effects came creeping through. After every large hit from my bowl the effects intensified. Euphoria takes over, the mind relaxes, creativity, calmness, and focus are there to stay, happiness chimes in guiding and steering negativity away. I deeply enjoy the fast acting psychedelic portion of this strain. As the body effects take on slowly I feel my chronic pain come an ease, my inflammation go down. Making it easier on me to go about my daily activities and/or sleep a soundly nights rest. As I took my last hit my stomach started to growl, just a friendly way of telling me it's time to get in the kitchen and prepare some amazing munchies!

I'm giving "Hells Angel OG" a 5 Star rating for its elegance in smell, looks, feel/texture, and taste.
